A 2nd Project Window Clock?

Hello ,

I do a lot of mixing projects where there will often be several ,or many , music pieces/cues within my Cubase project.

I will often send these individual mixes to the client for approval , then ,the client may wish to make changes at X number of minutes/ seconds in,say, track 7 which starts at 9min41sec and 11min37 seconds in track 9 … etc.

Does Cubase have a clock that can run in minutes and seconds from the Left Locator?..wherever that locator may be set and independent of project tempos ?

I could really use something like this !

Can this be set up already ? or maybe Steinberg might like to include such a clock in future Cubase versions.

Thanks , Michael

Not that I know of. However, you can set the primary time format to seconds, then range select from the start of the section. Look in the status bar to see the time relative to the start of the section as you drag the range selector.

In the project settings you can set an offset. It’s a project-wide, onetime only kind of setting thing:

(Where it says Project Time Displays, over on the left.)

Thanks for yr replies and ideas chaps .
Yes I’d thought of the Range Select tool but a dedicated clock set from Left locator would be quicker. Wondering how to build one of these ?
