This is such a sick bug that kinda needs to be fixed.
Clearly not every user has this. Can you give details to help: OS platform version, RAM, etc, and in this case graphics card - may be an issue there. It’s always better if you give as much info as possible so people can try to help out.
Are you really saying you see this on 4, 5, and iPad [tags you set]?
Maybe try to quit Dorico by swiping up from the bottom of the screen to show every running app; then drag Dorico off the screen. That is kind of like “force quit” on the Mac.
Have you restarted your iPad since?
If you tap on the “three lines” menu in the far right-hand corner, the last option is “Create Diagnostic Report”. A file will be created, and it would be useful to post it here for the development team to look at.
Have you never seen anything similar in any other app?
This works, but once in a while, this happens to me.
All of my files do the same thing every once in a while.
In other apps as well? That would rule out Dorico as the problem, and point to hardware or an OS bug.
This only happens in dorico and I think this only happens on iPad.
I also have that occasionally…
Okay… that big is kinda funny, but everything still works fine if you just restart the app or the iPad.
