I’m using the word “stem” maybe not in the more correct way but it’s the more synthetic to express what I’ll try to explain here:
I have a project with around fifty tracks, including groups and fx ones; every group includes audio and fx tracks (mainly reverbs), which are routed to the group output itself, and has a couple of insert on it. (i.e. guitars + fx > group; vocals + fx > group; etc.
Theoretically exporting all groups with insert/strip option would give me an exact copy of the final result, apart from master output inserts, is it correct?
Why when I compare all the “stems” playing together with the tracks that generated them I haven’t the same result?
Can it depend on the fact that I had to apply all the inserts are direct offline process as I was using some plugin demo that would end soon?)
