I am experiencing a new issue (for me) and I don’t know why. I did check the manual and previous posts, but didn’t see a solution that fixes my issue. When I export an audio file from Dorico, the volume-regardless of which media player I use-is much lower than the volume of the project file. Here is the Dorico file: Immortal, Invisible.dorico (3.3 MB) Here is the exported audio:
I don’t believe I’ve changed anything; didn’t have this issue before. I’m on Windows 11 using a Focusrite USB audio interface (which I’ve used for a couple of years now). I used Noteperformer and Steinberg’s Etude Church Grand for this. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Having just said that, please check the volume mixer in the Windows settings. Is everything there faded to the max?
And the media player itself also might have it’s own volume slider which might be not maxed out.
Ulf,
Thank You! there was one slider in the volume mixer that was at 50%. Funny thing is that I have never (that I can remember) made any changes in the settings there. Regardless, it’s all good now. Your solution never occurred to me. Thanks SO much!
