A project which did not suffer from latency yesterday does today

I am using Cubase 11.0.41 with an RME Fireface 802.

Yesterday I started recording a song and all was fine. Today, when I load the song, there is about 25ms of added latency.

I used a standard template and have not added any plugins.

The template does not include any plugins which increase latency.

If I load another song created using the same template, there is no latency problem, so my computer and soundcard still work OK and the latency settings should be independent of song.

Does anyone know what might have caused this?

Did you turned “Constrain delay compensation” to on? By accident?

I found the answer. I had added a plugin with built in latency to the master bus. I now show track latency in the mixer on all my projects!
