ok so i have all my tracks recorded, but when the track ends beat designer is still running. is there any way to disable this?

A MIDI ‘Stop’ event might help this.
Or ‘kludgy’ work-a-round.
add a few bars of ‘silence’ at the end of the track.
BD will still be running but you should not be able to ‘hear’ anything.
