A setting to make the items' "hitboxes" only occupy the same space as the graphic

Hi! This one is a little bit nit-picky, but I have always found the “shotgun effect” of selecting more than what I intended with one click quite unhelpful for me. Would it be possible to add a setting to make it so Dorico only selects what is directly under the cursor when clicking? There are many situations where I would find this very usefull.

You can Shift-Alt/Opt-click to select items beneath/very close to other items. If you Shift-Alt/Opt-click multiple times, Dorico cycles through various items at the same position.
