Hi team! It would be fabulous if Dorico would by default follow the direction of the melody graphically when using the “Slide-in” property for guitar notation.

Dorico should do this fairly intelligently, but if it hasn’t, you should find that setting the string explicitly will result in an appropriately-angled slide line.

It depends whether the string is explicitly or implicitly set. For best results, explicitly set the string.
