A visual overview for workspaces

The Mac version of Cubase allows full use of Apple’s “virtual desktop feature” (I don’t knwo how it’s called - I mean the possibility to put different windows on different virtual desktops).

Maybe because this feature doesn’t exist on Windows Steinberg created the workspace feature, where you can save different window alignments as presets and recall them via shortcut keys.

But there is one great advantage Apple users have: on Mac there is an overview you call with just one mouse sweep so you get a visual orientation of your different window alignments while on wndows you simply have to memorise your workspaces.

Now - I think it would be a very nice and useful feature if Steinberg implemented a visual overview for the workspaces.

What do you think?

Does maybe Win 8 feature different desktops?
