A wide two-line staff with notes inside it

I would like to create a wide two-line staff (I know how to do that — it’s a percussion staff). However, when I use a percussion staff, I can only place notes on the lines, not between them. How can I solve this?

Doesn’t help very much, but you can add 2 percussion playing techniques that show above and below the staff line. I think @johnkprice had some solution for this problem.
