When writing a drum part much of the time goes with editing the bar repeats so it is easy to play. I often copy the drum notes from bar to bar and edit them but sometime I just want to use a single or double bar repeat. In the old Sibelius days I think it was possible to replace/hide the notes when using the repeat but in Dorico the repeat sign doesn’t hide the underlying notes. So I will suggest that we could have an entry in Notation options, where we could force Dorico to hide the underlying notes in a bar when a repeat sign is used.
Is that possible? Is it a good idea?
