Hi,
I struggle with an AAF export.
It’s never easy… but more or less it’s doable. But this time I have a session where I made sure all files were converted BWF 24 bit, obviously no DOP… no overlap in lanes.
no matter what I can select all and do an aaf export global. it ends up with a could not export error. there’s some gain and fades… but I hope I can keep those really.
if I take tracks by tracks it works.
2 tracks sometime but sometimes no so I prefer to go one by one
… I have 100 mono tracks
any hint on what that could be ?

Well, the only thing you can so is troubleshooting.
-Indeed one by one.
-Two by two …
-Finding that one problematic track
-Export to OMF or other format, does that work?
-All-in one AAF file vs. Media separate from AAF
-Minimize audio
-Is all audio present in pool (prepare archive)
-…
Anything you can think of …
That’s the only way to put you finger on the problem.
Not much of a help, I know …
Fredo
thanks.
Yes when it comes to aaf it’s better to know that list and try anything.
I never tried the prepare archive before doing AAF
Only track by track worked… than I got luck and I could do all tracks left in a row.
I’ll have more export on that session i’ll try archive.
I remember first of all having to convert the files to the same frequency and bit depth (say 48 kHz/ 24 bits), and also having to create new independent clips with all the clips (sorry if the vocabulary is different, I write in French). Afterwards, in my case, everything went well. I’m now on MAC, but I was on Windows at the time.
