I’m trying to import an AAF file into my N11 for a new project film soundtrack. The stereo files are being created as mono tracks. Is it possible for the AAF import to create stereo interleaved tracks to match the files?
Yeah this is pretty standard, at least from Premiere AAF’s.
If there are 2 mono tracks that need to be converted to stereo, just select both tracks and do Convert Tracks > Mono to Multichannel. If I remember correctly I think its in the Project menu up top. All edits and fades and everything are kept.
I would love for there to be an option on import for this to happen automatically, but there isn’t.
