In my other DAW I can create an audio track and choose resample and it will record the tracks selected for playing. I have been following some tutorials on Cubase and I can’t see how to do the same thing. I don’t want to loopback. I just want to record the union of the tracks in the group within the project itself. Help would be appreciated. I really don’t want to export and then import either. Does Cubase 13 have a similar function as ABLe… ?
Hi,
Do you mean Render In Place?
I may be misinterpreting, but if you want to route the output of a group to another track you can do this in Cubase 13 (Pro, at least).
Create your new audio track and select the drop-down menu for the track input. Along with the channel inputs you should see a list of groups in your project. If you select one of these it will route the group audio output to your new track.
The terminology is different but in AB is this render in place but they call it resampling?
I watched Don’s first 1 minute video and created the group track. Now I would like to record the audio from the group called mix.
I went with KT66’s tip and I have successfully recorded the group mix. Thank you very much for your suggestion and help.
