AI & AL shouldn’t that be Ai < which would make a lot more clarity when not using old font.

I see no mention of Ai or AI at all.

Could someone explain exactly what the term Ai means for a purchaser?

You cannot buy AI or LE versions separately, they are only to come with hardware. Like if you buy a Steinberg audio interface they will be shipping an AI or LE license with it. In other words, they are OEM licenses.
If you read the posts in the top announcement section of this subforum it is explained what they are.
