Any way to lock mixers?

My oh my this is an old old thread!! But I wanted to chip in because I had exactly the same question. (And in Cubase 9 it’s still the same) Whilst it’s true that you can’t lock the mix position (I take this to mean the mixer view - not locking all the faders, but I don’t think that is what was meant) What I’ve discovered I can use to more or less do this is the “Add Configuration” feature. Lock mixer configurations?

I want to lock my mixer configurations so any new tracks, synths, renders etc…aren’t automatically added to them. I spend too much time removing & saving each time I add something to the project. I checked manual, probably simple & right in front of me but I can’t find the answer. thanks

Locking mixer (Workspace) preset

Is there a way to lock the filters on a mixer preset … exemple: I have 4 screen 2 on top of my motif keyboard and 2 on top of my DAW desk and I use preset filter so I only see what I need at the moment, like all my input and output on 2 display so I can alway see if there a spike somewhere and my group on the 3th one and so on … but when I add a new midi or audio track it goes on all my mixers so I have to go back in the window layout activate channel selector and uncheck the new added track. …

Locking mixer configuration

Hi, I know this question has been asked before in both Cubase and Nuendo forums but still can’t find a workable solution. I set up multiple mixer configurations for Drums, Vocals and Synths etc. and every time i add a new element in the arrangement window such as an FX bus or midi track. This is replicated across all mixer configs which means i have to spend time deselecting and updating each config etc. It may not seem an issue but it can be time consuming across a session.
