Cubase’s Audio Performance monitor is currently not at all informative at helping users track down sources of resource usage. If the user is experiencing load that is causing interruptions in performance, it is up to the user to find what the possible source might be.
Consider the Performance tab of Windows’ Task Manger. If something is slowing the user’s computer down, it’s very easy to identify the source.
This information would greatly help users to diagnose their own performance issues, and particularly aid users who freeze or disable tracks as part of their normal workflow.
