Ability to use different sample rate/bit depth audio files within any project audio format

It would be great if there was real-time conversion or non-destructive sample conversion signified by a neon green outline on the audio event that doesn’t match project specs - but it should still play normally.

Most my templates are at max bit rate depth, but I have lots of demo files that are in a compressed format or 44.1khz 16bit.

Having to always convert takes a lot of time, and also, being forced to use projects higher sample rate, creates bigger files… When you could just keep the file 44.1khz but code a ‘Conversion Temp’ folder which creates a temporary file converted to the proper sample rate which is only kept for the duration of the project being opened. Once you close, this temporary conversion file is deleted to save space.
