Ability to use multiple extensions at once per Audio Event

Hey Steinberg,
would be really cool to be able to use multiple extensions at once on one Audio Event. Im using a lot spectralayers and melodyne with my vocal productions and its a little bit annoying to always render the Audio Events to use one extension over the other.
Beeing able to use at least two extensions in parallel would be a great benefit

Hi,
When you say ā€œrenderā€ do you mean the classic ā€œrender in placeā€?

I used several different rendering methods in the past. Render in Place, make extensions permanent, selection as part and even recording onto a new track

The problem with trying to do that is when you are editing via an Extension it is really changing a working copy that is created by Melodyne, SpectraLayers, etc. Each software package creates their own independent copy. So if you could apply 2 extensions at the same time, the copy maintained by SpectraLayers wouldn’t know about any changes in the Melodyne copy - and vice versa.

I do know that this may be hard to achieve at the moment. But not asking means there’s no need for new innovation. Maybe there is a way that just has not been discovered yet. Direct offline processing is also rendering multiple audio effects into the audio file that can be reprocessed at any time. It’s just a little wish on my wishlist
