Can the red box have short spacing like the blue box?
Note spacing depends on the notes entered in the score… You’re showing silences here (in blue, and most of the red too). If you want the music to be proportionally spaced (which is kind of ugly, most of the time, but can be useful for some people) make sure you change the Note Spacing ratio to 2 (instead of 1,4 by default if I remember correctly). And maybe tweak the note spacing for short values — the notes you’ve entered are extremely short, you probably would not have that problem with staccato 8ths. Hope it helps
