We own the highest version of just about all of Steinberg’s software (I assume there’s probably something we don’t own). In general, the VSTi aren’t needed, but we have them anyway because, when we do need them, we need to have everything we need immediately available because time is money.
Well, right now is one of those times and all of the Halion7 content is missing! I went to download manager to see if there was anything important missing and saw the Nuendo update and installed it. After that, the samples & loops started showing up, but Halion7 still has nothing but “All” available. Halion7, Halion SE, Backbone, and Groove Agent appear as available VSTi, but the Halion content normally has a ton of options and they’re all missing!
I thought maybe I had to manually show it where I save everything in Library Manager, but I can see the presets for all of the missing instruments when I browse for them in Halion7. I hoped I could just double-click a preset to load Dark Planet or whatever, but that didn’t work. All it does is cause Halion to freeze up for a few minutes. I was able to load an Auron preset, but that was through the All menu. I need to choose my instruments and make my own sounds. This shouldn’t be happening at the price of all this software.
