I have an Academic version of Finale.
Is it possible to purchase the Academic of Dorico crossgrade or not?

If you still are a student in full-time education, or a teacher or represent an eligible institution, then I believe you are still eligable for the education Crossgrade discount. You’ll have to prove both, the ownership of Finale, and your status as a student/teacher. See Dorico Is Music Education Software for Educators | Steinberg
And once there is an upgrade to Dorico 4 available and you buy it, it won’t be an educational, but a full version, which you can use for commercial work (as far as I know).
