I have a snare that has a flam sample. I added it to the snare playing techniques and all seems fine and plays back according to the percussion map:
If I add an accent, the mapping gets erased (well, defaults back to something).
Do I need to define Accent in the snare playing techniques? Is this something I need to add in the “Playback of Articulations and Tremolos” section? That topic is not very well covered in the documentation, e.g.,
Allows you to define how combinations of articulations and tremolo strokes affect or override the playback of playing techniques.
For example, you can define an entirely different playing technique for a playing technique-specific notehead for when an accent is added to it.
A bit confusing.
