Accent Placement

Here is a screen shot of 2 accents over notes.

I prefer above note, for the placement of accents and marcatos. It placed the accents in the staff, and I have been unable to find a place to tell Dorico to move the accent outside of the staff.

And here is what it says in the Engraving options, but it isn’t moving the accents.

And the marcato sign does display outside of the staff.

This was the closest I could find–in Engrave Options–but it doesn’t seem to work for accent marks.

I take it Edit > Reset Position doesn’t work. I have no problems when these are set to “always position outside of staff”, which does affect the > accent.

One variable might be if this file originated as an XML import. I’d email the file to Daniel and ask that he take a look.

Nope. And it was not an XML import.

Mine is a from scratch Dorico file as well.
