Like the title says – I’d like to be able to do things like raise and lower reverb times, filters, etc. Is there a way to find out what midi parameters I can program into the 1600x, to do this?
Thanks
If you configure a MIDI Remote Controller in Cubase for your Peavey PC1600X, you can use it to control all functions of Cubase and VST plugins.
Thanks - so where can I find the midi parameters for the VST control functions?
There are no fixed assignments of MIDI CC to Cubase functions, these are freely configurable. A specific control element (e.g. fader 1) of the hardware controller sends a specific CC (e.g. 11) on a specific channel (e.g. 1) via a specific MIDI input port (e.g. MIDI In 1) to Cubase. This control element is created and configured in MIDI Remote as an image of the hardware element. Any Cubase function can then be assigned to this element, e.g. Parameter 1 of the focused Insert FX Plugin.
But don’t I have to know the CC# for the particular control I am trying to address? IOW: What is the CC #s for Roomworks’ “size” or “reverb time” knobs?
