I’ve noticed that once you enable “read” on a Group track that does not have a volume automation line, it is very common to accidentally add a -∞db automation point when clicking on the empty space of the track with the normal cursor. This, in combination with no true undo* can be from annoying to extremely time wasting…
This was not the case on 7.5. I suspect it is a side-effect of “virgin territories” feature but it should only happen with the pencil cursor…
- (undoing just removes the point but does not restore the track’s original fader level)
