Accidentals in a chord

Hi!

In this example I don’t want dorico to put the Gb accidental on every note in the left hand and the G natural in the right hand. Clicking on the note and pressing the accidental in the left panel does not remove it.
How to achieve this? (Dorico 5)

All the best,
Joonas

Go to Notation Options → Accidentals → Basic. Is Second Viennese School selected? Select a different option that suits your needs.

Common practice is selected. Is there no way to do it manually? I don’t want to change some global option because I like how the rest of the piece looks like.

You can set “Accidental” to “Hide” in the Properties Panel

Or change the Gb’s to F#'s. :smiling_face_with_horns:

That would conflict with the F naturals in the other stave (same problem).

E-double sharp then?

Same problem (it conflicts with E naturals in the other stave!)
I think one solution would be to re-notate the G naturals in the top stave as Abb..

Or we could get creative: D###.

Finally a good use for triple accidentals! It will make the music so much better legible😂

Thank you! I remembered that there was some manual option but my eyes just refused to find it in the properties.
For others: I can’t edit the music unfortunately
