I tried this today because it seems that, despite all the adjustments made in the options, it still doesn’t work in Dorico 6.
However, here’s a workaround:
enter the two values without a tie, then add the accidentals (the one at the beginning of the system below in parenthesis, so as “forced accidental”), then tie them afterwards. The cautionary accidental will be there.
