Accidentals question

Piano score.

Within the same bar Dorico is itself inserting a natural (♮) before a C5 in the G Clef because I flattened (♭) a C3 a couple of notes earlier in the F Clef.

Is that conventional scoring, or Dorico being extra helpful, please?

It is conventional in published music, but not in most computer-produced music, because most notation software doesn’t correctly consider all staves belonging to the same instrument when determining cautionary accidentals.

If you want to override such cautionary accidentals, you can set the ‘Accidental’ property on the note with the accidental you consider redundant to ‘Hide’.

Great! Thanks, Daniel. It seems a good feature to me
