Accidently activated different erase note "mode" in piano roll?

Hi there,

When editing midi notes in the piano roll I have selected the erase-tool via right click because I want to remove a note.

When clicking on a 16th note in the middle of the midi-part to erase it all the notes to the right (after in time) are pulled back the same length as of the note I erased. This is something I’ve never seen before and I assume I’ve accidentaly activated some different “erase mode” with some short cut key-combo by mistake.

Can anyone tell me how to get back to “normal” where just the note is erased without affecting the rest of the notes in the part?

(bonus info: the input of new notes with the pencil does not affect notes, then everything stay in place)
