Quello che dici è vero ma io volevo accorciare la prima striscia (colore arancio) con il mouse: sulle altre note funziona regolarmente ma sulla prima no; forse è un bug?

Con il mouse, l’unico modo è quello di spostare la nota a destra, accorciarla come si vuole e sostituirla sul bordo.

Per me è un BUG.
L’ho provato e posso confermare: si può allongarla, ma non accorciarla con il mouse. Mi sembra un bug.
