Does anyone use AceStudio with Dorico? Will it work without any problems? It’s pretty expensive, so I’m worried. It doesn’t seem like you can just try it out. It seems like it has some attractive features, though.
Some of us are waiting for Cantai, but you can try it out now (still in beta).

Cantai absolutely for me. One of the many many reasons is that Cantai will work directly inside Dorico as a VST like NotePerformer. ACE Studio doesn’t.
I’ve tried it. It’s stand-alone app currently.
For me, it’s not ready for prime time and I got a refund. But I find the same with Cantai too.
For classical style solo voices, the best I’ve found so far is Cantāmus. Also stand-alone, and with the down-side that it doesn’t seem to be being developed much if at all, so before long it’s likely to be superceded. Possibly by Cantai.
