But then you’d only have a small number of tracks visible.
I just think that with every added option, Cubase and it’s projects will take that much longer to open, while Cubase has to sort out what to show and how to show it.
Luckily the user is free to set the track height and width to suit their particular needs.
Elements of each track type is also freely configurable via the Track Controls Settings Dialog and adding Volume and Pan controls would not deviate from these options.
How much would you recon is “that much longer” exactly? Would it even be perceivable with a contemporary computer? I’m not so sure.
Try using the WinKey+PrtSc keys to get a screenshot. Windows will save it in Pictures\Screenshots.
Aha, the famous default size.
Kidding aside, you haven’t even made the mixer as small as possible. Again, this is not a take against the feature request that you support. I just don’t fancy the screenshots you are using here to make things look even worse. I think this is poor style.
Be that is it may, the mixer will still take away vertical space, while the requested track controls will take away horizontal space. Since there is more honrizontal than vertical space I get the desire for such controls on the track header.
BTW: Why don’t the people who support this request upvote it?
Of course i know about screenshots ( when my laptop switched to 3 extra monitors the Prnt Screen captures 3 screens at once.)
Yes, i have tried numerous times to resize a height of a Lower Zone Mixer/Faders view, its barely moving down in height ( the result - is the midget’s di…ck difference in height
).
Here is the better screenshot .
Steinberg, even a businesswise you could attract more customers to buy Cubase , customers who really would like to switch to Cubase from other DAWs would meet user friendly display as an option.
oh pls god no
A point of interest
I also remember the time when you could set you own background image and it was in all not just the Atari version, I also remember why the feature was removed BUT im not going to post it here.
Lets see how much corperate + user memory we have here!!!
Can anyone else remember?
I remember changing it in Windows, but can´t remember the version and don´t know the reason for removal
Well…
I guess your screen scales to 200%?
On the main computer with 3 monitors its 125%, on the dell laptop its 100%. But regardless the screen resolution I still miss a feature where volume and pan are located on each track.
Now we finally got it on Cubase 15! Thanks for the support
