Acoustic Feedback button in the MIDI editor does not work

Ok, I’ve been at this stuff for decades… and this one issue is making a monkey outta me!

The Acoustic Feedback button, when engaged, and I move MIDI notes around, does not seem to have an effect as I do not hear anything. If I recall correctly this should sound every time I move a MIDI note up or down provided I have this button engaged. I GOTTA be missing something silly here. Any thoughts?

This is Cubase 13 Pro, latest update.

Hi,

I expect, the MIDI data are routed to any Instrument.

If you are using Control Room:

  • Enable the Monitor Bus in the Audio Connections > Outputs.
  • Set a meaningfull Audio Port (your main output) on the Monitor.

If you are not using Control Room:

  • Right-click on the Output Bus in the Audio Connections > Outputs.
  • Enable the Main Mix option on the Output Bus.

Hi Martin,

THANK YOU that did it!

Now, I just gotta figure out why it suddenly changed…
