Thank you everybody. In the end because my breathing is so prominent ( sounds like Darth Vader has come into the room ) I spoke to a guitar luthier who fitted a non-obtrusive pickup to my guitar. I now directly inject and for my purposes the results are okay. If I ever need something better I will go into a studio.
