Activate Sync Options...Make Sense?

Hi:

i have an RME ADI-2 connected via spdif i/o.

I don’t remember being confused at all regarding Cubase sync settings on the transport but all of a sudden am.

I know it has flexible and advanced applications, but for my simple connection setup, would it make sense to anyone that if i set sync to timecode source ASIO that i would be getting a more “crisp” syncing? sometimes “sync disabled”, which i guess is INT, seems a little sluggish to me. Any suggestions? Sync to Internal timecode? Sync diasabled INT? etc.,?
