Trying to get my MOTU midi express XT to play nice with Cubase 7.5. I am using a Tascam 1800 & MXPXL through Windows 10. In device setup everything shows up but all the MXPXL is inactive. How can activate them, or at least the main controller?

The MIDI Port becomes active, once you use it in any MIDI/Instrument track.
