Activation code in eLicense/Cubase8 pro trial not working

Every time i enter the activation code the company provided me via email for a 30 day trial for Cubase Pro 8 it goes to the screen where it allows me to enter the code but then there is a red circle with a line through it. Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong downloading my cubase 7 was not this complicated.

Hello,

Basically it is telling you that the eLicenser cannot host that activation code. Is it the first time you download a trial to that USB-eLicenser?

No i do not the last time i was able to use the Cubase 7 trial it sent me a soft e-license. How do i get it to be a soft e-license activation code?

Cubase Pro 8 Trial requires a USB-eLicenser, like the Cubase 7 Trial. The Cubase Elements 8 Trial can be used with the soft-eLicenser, you can download it from here:
