Activation - Cubase LE

I bought a Zoom R8 recorder which came with a license to run Cubase LE. However, when I try to type in the “Activation Code”, it is expecting alphanums in six groups of four, and my “Download access code” from the card that came with the recorder is four groups of 5 alphanums. So I get an error when trying to activate my software and can’t get past it. Any advice?

You need to first redeem the DAC through your MySteinberg account under “my products”->“enter download access code”. Once this is done you will receive a new activation code that is intended to be activated in the eLicenser Control Center.
