Activation Manager, little but usefully extension [SILK-455]

Please, dear Steinberg folks, I would be so happy if you would show on the Activation Manager how many times I have activated something on my PCs.

I have made a sample image. In addition, clicking on the number could open the Steinberg page where I can see all my PCs with the activated objects.

Just an FYI, you can get a full list of all activations by device by logging into your SB account and going to Licensed Devices:

Not exactly what you asked for, but I would think the “currently active” license assignment would be more valuable than the “number of times it’s been activated” (since they could be different if you move licenses around). If you just want all PCs with the activated software, then the portal should give you what you want.

Thank you, that’s how I’ve done it so far. But when I install Steinberg products on a new PC, I want to be able to see immediately how many activations I have left on that PC, or whether they have all already been used up.

If everything has already been used up, then of course I have to open this page.

But if I have 6 PCs with different installations, it would be very helpful to see the current activations directly in the Activation Manager, especially since I have a lot of products.

I also have duplicate purchases of some products, so seeing the activations would really help me here.

Fair - particularly if you’ve got that many system and you’re switching back and forth between them; if you’ve got to go into the SAM anyway, seeing the total would save you a step. The link to “MySteinberg…” in the SAM does go right to that page, but I get your point. Maybe add “feature request” tag to your post - you never know

thank you  , but add posting as a feature request; I didn’t understand how to do that here.

Oh, we’re in the Lounge. You can’t tag “feature-request” here. Sorry

Yes, that’s strange too  , because in my opinion the feature request doesn’t fit into any other forum section, unless I’ve overlooked something. So, another feature request, a feature request for the Steinberg Lounge, or the opening of a forum section called Steinberg Download and Activation Manager.

Hi aaandima, thank you for the suggestion. I’ll forward it to my colleagues in charge.
