Why do you want to remove licences you own?
The manager is your bank of licences. You can hide them from view by deactivate them and clicking the ‘activated’ button on the left side, if they anoise you. Then you’ll see only activated programs.
Yes - of course, this is one way. My question was aimed to have the possibility of some “cleaning” of the main page content, but maybe this is only my point of view
I just simply do not care about products I owned in the past and are/will not be valid any longer.
This has been discussed before… the SAM essentially mirrors the license information from the Steinberg licensing servers. If a user could remove an expired trial license for a product, they could start another trial and so on…
Just go to the “Activated” tab on the left (or whatever it is called in English, “Aktiviert” here in gGrman), and it only shows the licenses that are activated on this computer.
Then they should have a specific Trials section in SAM. Or let us make folders. But eternally having all the expired trials in the list, among all the legit lics, making it harder to read, is not a good design.
I think a solution that might make everyone happy would be to have the ability to “hide” any licenses, or especially expired trials, that might be in the manager. Of course a global “show hidden licenses” could also be implemented.
Well, their answer is not good because it’s missing an actual category. A license can be Activated, Not activated or Expired. The latter is not accounted for. It should, and there should be a pref to have those lics hidden from the main list by default.
The mods can’t do anything about it.
If you want these entries to be removed you have to open a support ticket and support will take care. That’s the only option right now. It might take a couple of weeks, though.
