Activation pending

I just purchased Cubase Artist 13 upgrading from my older Cubase Elements 10.5.
Before I downloaded Artist I formated my iMac’s disk to upgrade my macOS as required by the new Cubase version.
From that the license for Elements was the erased from my Mac.
After downloading the Artist the license shows as ‘pending’, as valid for 10 days
What do I need to do to solve this issue?

I didn’t want to post this on the forum but after a couple of days of no reply to my ’ support request’, I think it’s my best chance. I hope I didn’t spend £222 on a 10 day version that will disappear in a week!
Thank you in advance!

Reactivate Cubase Elements 10.5 on your new installation, using the Reactivation feature of My Steinberg, Products, eLicenser section. You do not have to install Cubase Elements 10.5, just activate the licence.

You can then complete the activation process for Cubase Artist 13 and receive your permanent licence.

Thanks. I’ll try that.

Hi, I just did that but this message whos up"
‘The eLicenser assigned to this Activation Code is deprecated.’

Do you know what that means?

Well, I reactivated the EI 10.5 license and then downloaded the Artist license again (I think), and now the Activation Manager shows “Activated” next to the product.
I hope that’s what it’s expected for the software to be fully operational and the license unlimited in time.
Is this correct?
Thanks in advance!

That sounds right - if the expiry date has disappeared, you now have your permanent Cubase Artist 13 licence.
