This D3D10Warp.dll + Cubase problem has been around since 2015.

Cubase 9.5 hangs on project close on Win 10

It seems that no one here has the problem, which is still weird, but there might be a solution to this problem: I’ve been in contact with a plugin developer and he provided me with a version of his plugin (one of those that caused the hang) compiled with VSTGUI 4.3 instead of 4.0, and with that version I never had the hang state so far.
