Add a category of playing techniques

Hello,
I would like to add/create a category in “playing technique” (write mode).
My purpose is to create a category with the name" keyswitch" and add “note number” inside from 24 to 38 for example.
I can’t find how to this ? edit a xml file?
Or is it impossible?

It’s not possible at the moment to add categories to PT.

This would make organizing and working with Playing Techniques so much easier. My guess is it will have to wait it’s turn.

I asked this before, but I’ll add my wish for custom categories here. My Playing Techniques pane is a mess!

Just wanted to add my +1 here too. I have a bunch of playing techniques I use for analysis that would be great to move into their own category.

I’m coming back to this post 3 years after to find out if there have been any changes in this direction that I haven’t followed… or is it status quo and the subject only interests too few people?
I’m always interested in seeing this kind of thing.

Nobody knows… 5.1 has brought a great correction I’ve been asking for since v1.2… Keep up the good work and things will come eventually!
