Add a mesure in the middle of a project

I’M presently working on a project and I miscount the number of mesures . Please can you explain to me how we can addd a mesure in the middle of a project.

You help on this project would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest way is probably to select a note at the start of the bar before which you want to insert a bar, open the bars popover with Shift+B, and type 1 and then Enter.Animation2

Select a barline (or note/rest), press Shift-B, and enter the number of bars to insert.
