I recently copied several bars of music from one place in a score and pasted it later in the score. I inadvertently copied only the notes of the last bar of the group, but not the 2-beat rest that filled the end of that bar, so when I pasted everything, the last bar was a 4/4 bar with only two beats. I fixed this by just deleting that bar and recopying the full bar with the rest and adding it again, but is there a way to add beats—either notes or rests or both—to an incomplete bar?
Shift-B 2q will add two quarter notes. e for eight notes, x for sixteen notes… Do it in Note Input mode and place the cursor where you want to add. Shift-B -2q will remove two quarter notes.
