Add duration field in project info window?

it would be very handy to have a duration field in the project info window.
I can’t use the calculated project duration but need to put the composer’s indication. And I would like to be able to put that in a template, and then fill in the project info.

Just hijack a Project Information field that you are not using.

where can I put duration to use it in a template with a token. I only know about the info panel that doesn’t have duration… we have @projectduration@ but that is a calculated duration. I need to put the composers said duration. And I need a slot where to put it… joakim

I suggested he turn it into a FR for the team’s consideration.

it should be ‘easy’ to add

We welcome all kinds of feature requests and feedback, and are very happy that users are so engaged, but we do suggest that users avoid expressing assumptions about how easy they think any given request/feature would be to add.

Very often, things are more complicated behind the scenes than they might appear, and for the developers responsible for delivering features to you, reading that “this must be easy” can be a tad frustrating
