I’m working on a chamber opera that I initially wrote in piano/vocal score, but I’m now adding more instruments to it for a full score. The part labeled “full score” has been painstakingly edited for spacing, page turns, collisions, etc., and I’d like to keep it available as a piano/vocal score. Is there a way to preserve the “full score” formatting as a part that only includes the piano reduction and voices, before adding other instruments that I assume will automatically go in “full score”? I’m running Dorico 5 on Windows, if that helps.
If you right-click on the Full Score in Setup mode, you can Duplicate to a new Layout. It’s possible that new players will still be added to the new layout; but removing them should leave everything as it was.

This did it, but only because I had empty staves hidden-- for anyone looking at this in the future, Dorico does add new instruments to layouts duplicated from the “full score” as well. Still, thanks!
