Cubase doesn’t include any type of key or scale detection of audio tracks (stereo). I am constantly using third party vst’s to accomplish this which is mind boggling that this isn’t native in Cubase 9.5. Vari Audio handles monophonic tracks pretty well so this shouldn’t be a hard thing to piggy back off. My ideal fix of this would be a simple drag and drop of audio into the sampler resulting in: key of audio, chord and accurate tempo detection (along with all of the other cool things it already gives us). Cubase could always handle all key changing needs after that point.
