It would be very useful if there was a shortcut to add the lyrics associated with a note (or the same grid position as the corresponding note) to a selected notehead.
As it is now, you need to command-click or marquee-drag around the entry and lyric syllables to add them. If there’s stacked lyrics, that’s a lot of mousing and can become quite painful.
I’m running into a lot of instances where I might need to reposition a note along the grid, and the lyrics don’t follow, but rather need to be selected.
There’s already a fantastic Dorico shortcut to add chord symbols to a selection - I’d love to see an equivalent for lyrics.
Drag-selecting notes and lyrics works for me.
Sometimes, only get the notes. I just tried it again and was able to snag everything… but it’s still a lot of mousing, especially when nursing a repetitive stress injury
Click on the first note of the passage and then CTRL/CMD + Click on the final syllable of the lyric desired.

Unless the final syllable is on a melisma, it’s just a couple of clicks.
For a passage, fine. That’s not what I’m talking about.
It’s this scenario:

Ideally, I would be able to make this selection without mousing.
